Schaumburg Wins Game Five, Fourth FL Title
Washington's championship aspirations in a wonderful 2021 campaign fell a game short, as Schaumburg took game five by a final of 10-4 and with it, won its fourth FL title.
Washington Walks Off in Game Two
The Wild Things got a walk-off double from Nick Ward after Grant Heyman's two-run homer in the eighth that tied the game. The series is even at a game apiece.
Wild Things Round Out Regular Season With Win
Washington finished the regular season with a matchup with the ValleyCats Sunday and now turns its attention to a series with Équipe Québec that begins Tuesday in the Frontier League Playoffs.
The Northeast Belongs to the Wild Things
The Wild Things have claimed their seventh division title in franchise history and the second in three years. Playoff games are Tuesday and Wednesday at Wild Things Park for FLDS Games 1 and 2 against whoever wins the Atlantic Division.

Sunday's Game Postponed to Monday
Due to rain fall in the morning and early afternoon, Sunday's scheduled third game of the series at Sussex County has been postponed and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Monday at 2:05 p.m.
Washington Takes Game One Behind Four-Run Fifth
The Wild Things got a good start from Ryan Hennen, who yielded just an unearned run over five innings for his 10th win, and used a four-run fifth to pull ahead for good in the first of the twinbill Wednesday.
Équipe Québec Scores Early and Takes Middle Game
The visitors evened the series against Washington at Wild Things Park Saturday night by scoring early and not looking back. Washington brought the tying run to the plate in the ninth after entering trailing 8-0.
Wild Things Sign First Former Big League in Team History
For the first time in organization history, the Wild Things have signed a former big leaguer in Rob Whalen. Whalen debuted at 22 years old for the Braves and spent parts of three seasons in the bigs with Atlanta and Seattle.

For the 43rd time in franchise history, the Wild Things are sending a player to an affiliated organization, as James Meeker becomes the third Pittsburgh native this year to have his contract purchased.

Frontier League Hall of Fame Class of 2020-21 Announced
Washington has seen its Hall of Fame player total double with the announcement of the 2020-21 FL HOF class, announced today by the league. Washington sends SP Jared Howton, CP Jonathan Kountis and C Josh Loggins into the Hall.

Frontier League Makes Official Announcement
Due to ongoing border closures, Ottawa and Trois-Rivières will not be playing during the 2021 season. A road team, dubbed, the Providence of Quebec will play a road schedule. Washington will now add three games to its home schedule and is set to play in a three-team division.

Can-Am 2019 Co-HR Leader Acquired by Washington
Richie Fecteau has been acquired by the Washington Wild Things in a trade with the New York Boulders. Fecteau led the Boulders in home runs and was tied for the Can-Am League lead in the category in 2019. Jake Dexter has been traded to New York.

After two seasons with the Wild Things and not allowing a run in eight appearances for the Slammin' Sammies in pod play this past summer, former North Allegheny Tiger standout James Meeker has decided to return for 2021
