Nick Gallagher becomes the second former Binghamton Bearcat to be on the Wild Things’ roster, joining Nick Wegmann. Gallagher, the 2017 America East Pitcher of the Year and first-team selection, posted his best collegiate season in 2017, as he was a finalist for the Gregg Olson Award, which honors the breakout player of the year in college baseball. Nick was 8-3 with a 2.67 ERA that season, and finished his college career with a 20-19 record and an ERA of 4.17 in 57 appearances (45 starts). The career at Binghamton came after a successful two-way career at New Fairfield HS in Connecticut. Nick signed with the Wild Things Tuesday, July 16 and this is his first pro contract.
