Harvey enters his first season and taste of professional baseball with the Washington Wild Things as a draft-eligible right-handed pitcher. The former Red Storm standout set six new records at the University of Rio Grande, including three new career pitching marks in wins (30), strikeouts (339) and shutouts (7). He also matched a career record for ERA at the NAIA power with a 3.30 careerearned run average. He also has new single-season records as of this year, his senior year, in starts, wins and strikeouts. Harvey played his high school ball at Spring Valley HS in Huntington, WV. He signed with the Wild Things Tuesday, June 4, 2019.
