Fennell enters his second season with the Wild Things after logging just 75 at bats last year and hitting .200. Fennell was featured on Sportscenter’s Top 10 Plays for a diving catch during the Dingers Only Night game in June against the Traverse City Beach Bums. His extremely successful career at D2 Cal U, who plays its home games at Wild Things Park, was enough to get him drafted by the Cardinals in 2016, an organization in which he played a pair of seasons.
