Emily Kane Joins Organization as Box Office Manager
WASHINGTON, Pa. (Oct. 27) – The Washington Wild Things, proud members of the MLB-partnered Frontier League, have hired Emily Kane, a Pittsburgh native, as Box Office Manager, and she started in the front office today.
Kane joins the sales staff in the role of Box Office Manager and will help manage all aspects of ticket sales, including season ticket memberships and groups as well as oversee the operation of the box office during the offseason and gamedays. Emily joins a team committed to bringing an exceptional fan and sales experience to a still growing Wild Things fan base and the general community in the city she grew up in.
“We’re excited to have Emily join our team,” said ticket sales manager Elise Dume. “Her experience and dedication will be a great addition to our organization as we continue to build on our successes.”
Emily graduated from Obama Academy, where she played tennis, and matriculated to the University of Pittsburgh, where she majored in marketing and minored in economics. She was a part of SBA (Sports Business Administration), WISE (Women in Sports and Events) and the VP and President of the Pitt Billiards Club. She has served in roles within Pitt Athletics, as a sales intern in 2024 with the Altoona Curve and was a junior spring associate with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the spring of 2025.
The Washington Wild Things will open their 24th season of professional baseball and 23rd in the Frontier League on May 7, 2026, with the homer opener scheduled for Friday, May 15 against the Schaumburg Boomers at EQT Park.
