Wild Things Play Final Exhibition of Camp

WASHINGTON, Pa. (May 7) - Washington hosted Ottawa in the final exhibition game of the spring slate and after a 2-1 defeat in sudden death, the club moves on to its season opener slated for Friday in Crestwood against the Bolts.
Regi Grace started the game and allowed a hit, a homer, in 3.1 innings while he walked three and fanned two Titans. Albert Cuello-Batista pitched the final two outs of the fourth inning scoreless before Marlon Perez struck out three in two innings, Jordan DiValerio struck out three in two hitless, scoreless innings and Joelvis Del Rosario worked a scoreless frame. Jacob McCaskey struck out two but walked in the game's final run in the top of the 10th, which was played in the league's sudden death format.
Jeff Liquori was the main bright spot for the Wild Things offensively, as he scored the game's only tally for Washington in the sixth inning on a wild pitch after swiping second base following a single through the right side. He finished with a pair of hits including that single and a double to left center. Tommy Caufield added a hit in his four trips.
