Sports Facility, LLC and EQT Corporation Announce Naming Rights Partnership

WASHINGTON, Pa. (March 25) – On Tuesday morning, in front of local officials, community members and league executives, Sports Facility, LLC, owner of the Washington Wild Things announced a 3-year naming rights partnership with local energy giant, EQT for the entertainment complex located in Washington County. The 24-year-old facility, which is home to the 2024 Frontier League West Division Champion Washington Wild Things, will now be called EQT Park. Financial and specific terms of the confidential agreement were not disclosed.
“EQT Park will be a community asset like no other,” said Stuart Williams, managing partner of the Wild Things. “We are delighted to partner with such a community minded organization. Their commitment to this area is evident in many ways, including the partnership they’ve formed with us.”
In 2025 EQT Park will host the Taco and Tequila Festival, the Céad Míle Fáite (Irish National Baseball Team vs the Washington Whiskey Runners), the Pride Festival, the WPIAL Baseball Playoffs, Penn West California Vulcan Baseball, McGuffey High School and Washington High School games, PONY League events, plus concerts and more!

The complex debuted in 2002 and was then owned by Baseball Scholarships inc. (BSI), a nonprofit organization created to serve In the role of a public entity, such as a stadium authority. The stadium was originally named Falconi Field, to honor the late entrepreneur, Angelo Falconi. From 2007–2016 the complex was known as CONSOL Energy Park. From 2017 until today, the facility bore the name Wild Things Park. The Wild Things open their 2025 campaign on the road when they face the Windy City Thunderbolts. The home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, May 13 when the Wild Things host the Ottawa Titans. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
