Kyle is getting ready for his 9th full season with the Washington Wild Things after two part-time seasons in 2015 and 2016. He is the Vice President of Baseball Operations, a promotion announced January 11, 2024, as well as the team's broadcaster.
A native of Plum, Pennsylvania, Kyle played high school baseball for the Mustangs before heading to Waynesburg University and into the school's Department of Communication. At WU, he served in a multitude of roles including serving as the producer and as a broadcaster for the Waynesburg University Sports Network, general manager of WCYJ-FM, the school's student radio station, sports director for WCTV, the school's TV station and assistant sports editor for The Yellow Jacket, the school's newspaper.
He began his tenure with the Wild Things in 2015 as an official scorer and scoreboard operator before serving as the emcee the next year as an intern. He was the Community Relations and Social Media Manager in 2017, running in-game entertainment and social media as well as media relations, before taking over the role of Media Relations Manager and Broadcaster in 2018. He was the broadcaster and handled media relations again in 2019, before returning to the office in 2020 prior to pod play as a ticket sales rep and broadcaster.
In 2019 and 2021, Kyle was selected as the Frontier League's Robert Ford Award winner for the league's Broadcaster of the Year.
Outside of Wild Things Park, Kyle is a broadcaster for the TribLIVE High School Sports Network, covering several WPIAL sports. Additionally, he is an avid Pirates, Steelers and Pitt fan. You can find him spending time with friends, watching his favorite TV shows, from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul to The West Wing, The Wire, Peaky Blinders, The Sopranos, Stranger Things and Grey's Anatomy.
