Travis Pettit enters his ninth season of Wild Things baseball in 2024. Travis has worked in food and beverage since his first year (2016). Announced January 9, 2024, Pettit will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer of Sports Facility, LLC, the parent company of the Washington Wild Things, as well as Senior Vice President of Operations of the Wild Things (Washington Frontier League Baseball). In this new title, Pettit will manage and oversee the Food and Beverage and Merchandise departments, as well as supervise stadium operations and manage the financial operations of all related entities in Sports Facility, LLC.
Travis graduated from Bethlehem-Center High School where he graduated with high honors. He graduated following the fall 2021 semester from Penn State University with a degree in accounting/business administration.
For 10 years Travis spent time raising and showing market steer. His highest honor was being named Reserve Champion Showman.
Travis lives at home with his mother, father and younger brother, Trevor. When he’s not at Wild Things Park, Travis is watching his favorite sports teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins, or hanging out with his cat Little Kitty. He's also the a proud fish father. He loves to cook, bake, make margaritas and watch his favorite TV shows. He also loves cruises and spends time on the side as a travel agent.
