Lapiana, signed before the season, is back with the Wild Things as of Friday, May 24, after being let go in Spring Training. The former Chartiers Valley Colt, Akron Zip and Utah Ute, Lapiana will get his first taste of pro ball in 2019 with Washington. He made 60 collegiate appearances and logged 271.1 innings in college ball. Josh played football and basketball (under local legend Tim McConnell) in his high school days, and was a member of one section winning team at CV.
