Wild Things' Promo Schedule Announced
WASHINGTON, Pa. (Mar. 15)-The Wild Things announced today their full 2019 Promotional Schedule. Coming off an East Division title and back-to-back playoff appearances, as well as numerous Best of the Best entertainment awards, the area's Minor League Baseball team looks to once again provide an unmatched family entertainment experience. All the action begins with Opening Day presented by Beef Jerky Outlet Washington on Friday, May 17th.
With a loaded Daily Promotional Schedule, every day of the week will offer fans exclusive content. New for 2019, Awareness Tuesday presented by CONSOL Energy will be the team's opportunity to showcase and raise funds for some of the area's best charities. Win Big Wednesday presented by Dean's Water will allow the first 500 fans to win prizes through Baseball Bingo, with the weekly grand prize being a 40-inch television. Of course $1 hotdogs will continue on Wednesdays courtesy of Albert's Meats. Returning this summer will be Thirst-Tee Thursday presented by Mylan & Stoney's, Fireworks Friday, Souvenir Saturday and Kids Eat Free Sunday presented by PA Cyber.

Hosting 48 home games this summer, the Wild Things strive to make every individual game special and unique. The schedule this year is highlighted by 30+ promotional/theme nights with specific entertainment. New theme nights include;
Past & Present Doubleheader: Thursday, May 23rd- Baseball returns to it's purest form, as we pay homage to the 1939 Washington Redbirds Championship.
Baseball For All: Friday, June 28th- The Wild Things celebrate sports as an entity which welcomes, includes and is adaptive to all.
Washington County Community Night: Saturday, July 27th- Residents countywide are invited to attend as the Wild Things recognize and donate funds for the construction of a memorial for our Fallen Washington County First Responders.
Augtober Fest presented by Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh: Saturday, August 10th- The ballpark transforms into a German-style festival and the first 1000 fans over 21 years of age receive a limited edition Beer Boot.
Renew Your Vows Night presented by Urbanowicz Jewelers: Saturday, August 17th- Twenty couples will have the opportunity to register to renew their vows on-field pregame. One lucky couple will be randomly selected to win a jewelry package from Urbanowicz.
Italian Heritage Night presented by Fontanini: Friday, August 23rd- Little Italy comes to life at the ballpark with all your favorite music and movie clips. Postgame fireworks will be accompanied by songs of Ol' Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra.
Returning again for 2019;
Friday Night Lights presented by Bordas & Bordas: Friday, June 7th- It's Football Night at the stadium and postgame fireworks will shot to the sounds of NFL Films. Steelers RB Jaylen Samuels and FB Roosevelt Nix will be on hand and will sign autographs for fans.
Salute to Service Night presented by Range Resources: Saturday, June 8th- The Wild Things honor all active and retired members of our armed forces. The first 1000 fans receive a patriotic decal baseball to commemorate "The Greatest Generation".
Bark In The Park Nights: Wednesday, June 19th & Wednesday, July 17th- Fans are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends to the ballpark. Watch America's Pastime with Man's Best Friend and enjoy $1 hotdogs courtesy of Albert's Meats.
Baseball Fights Cancer presented by Mylan: Saturday, June 29th- Medical professionals, survivors and all impacted come together to rally against the disease. Funds will be donated to the Mario Lemieux Foundation and the first 1000 fans receive a special Wild Thing "Pittsburgh is Stronger Than Cancer" garden gnome.
Hockey Night presented by Bordas & Bordas: Saturday, July 6th- Sharing the ice with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, the Wild Things go on the powerplay to celebrate hockey in our community! Pens alum Colby Armstrong will be in attendance and the first 1000 fans will receive a souvenir Hockey Night puck.
