Wild Things Add RHP Thompson and INF Fox to Roster
The Washington Wild Things have announced two roster additions in RHP Tyler Thompson and infielder Justin Fox for the 2016 season.
Thompson played college ball at West Virginia State University. He appeared in 14 games as a senior. He finished his time as a Yellow Jacket with a career record of 25-6. He was selected to the Daktronics All-Atlantic Region first team as a senior.
In 2015, he pitched for the Yellow Jackets in the Mountain State Conference baseball championships.
After college, he signed with the Fargo-Moorhead Red Hawks of the American Association of Independent Baseball in 2015.
Justin Fox played college baseball in his home state at West Virginia University. He ended his senior season with .273 batting average and 59 hits for the Mountaineers. The infielder played in the Frontier League with the Rockford Aviators last season.
