WASHINGTON, Pa. (March 20) – The Washington Wild Things have added catcher Jake Sisto to their 2025 roster ahead of Spring Training beginning in just over a month.

Sisto played in five games last year for Billings (PION) in 2024 and appeared in one for the Trois-Rivières Aigles. Combined, he was 6-for-2 at the plate with a homer and five RBI. The Liverpool, New York native split his time in college between SUNY Cortland and SUNY Brockport. He spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons with Cortland and was with Brockport from 2020-2022. In 61 collegiate games, he slashed .287/.370/.513 with 10 doubles, eight home runs and 37 RBI. During the 2023 summer, he played in one game with the State College Spikes (MLB).

He's the third catcher on the Wild Things active roster, joining veteran Willie Estrada and Jommer Hernandez. A full active roster is available on the Wild Things’ website.
