Anthem Auditions Set for Saturday Morning 4/22/17
Washington, PA (March 27, 2017) – The Washington Wild Things announced they will host National Anthem Auditions at the Wild Things’ Park on Saturday morning, April 22nd. No pre-registration is necessary and hopefuls will perform on a first come- first serve basis.
“In the past the singers have gone to the field and sung the National Anthem so the judges have the opportunity to hear the singer over the sound system in much the same way it will be heard the night of the game,” said General Manger Steven Zavacky. “We look forward to hearing the auditions each April. Unfortunately there are a limited number of spots available, so I’m sure the competition will be fierce!”
The auditions will get underway at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude no later than noon.
Performers who wish to audition should come prepared to sing the Star Spangled Banner, rain or shine!
