Wild Things Fall to ThunderBolts
The Washington Wild Things (4-4) resumed their three-game home stand against the Windy City Thunder Bolts (5-3) Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Wild Things Park. The Washington Wild Things fell to the Thunderbolts with a final score of 3-1.
The pitching was strong for the home team. The Wild Things sat down five batters as a staff, and the defense allowed no errors.
Rashad Brown led the Wild Things with two hits in three at bats. Kyle Reese also earned his first career hit of the season in a pinch-hit role in the bottom of the seventh inning.
RHP Jordan Schwartz (0-1) picked up the loss for the Wild Things after a four inning; three strike out, seven hit outing.
