Wild Things Drop Opener to Florence
WASHINGTON, Pa., May 26 - The Washington Wild Things (8-5) and Florence Freedom (10-3) opened their weekend, three-game set this evening at Wild Things Park, with the Freedom taking the contest, 9-2.
Logan Longwith started the game for the Freedom and went seven innings, allowing one run on a solo home run by Wild Things' second baseman Kyle Reese, who played in the game following the retirement of Jace Conrad earlier in the day.
