Elise Dume (Benke) was hired as an Account Executive with the Washington Wild Things in January 2024 and just completed her first season with the team. She was promoted to Ticket Sales Manager, December 5, 2024 in an official announcement by the club. She''ll manage the ticket sales staff in the front office and the seasonal box office staff, supervise the kids area and serve on the club's management team in her elevated role.
She grew up in Waynesburg, PA and graduated from Waynesburg Central High School (2019), where she actively participated in soccer both at the high school level and with a club soccer team. She pursued collegiate soccer at Bob Jones University while obtaining a degree in Sports Management within the NCAA division.
Following graduation, Elise began a career with the Atlanta Braves, overseeing game-day operations and coordinating special events at Truist Park. Elise has also had the opportunity to work for the Greenville Triumph Professional Soccer Club, PGA, The Augusta Masters Tournament, Pittsburgh Steelers training camp and the West Virginia Black Bears.
She says the sense of community and teamwork is what she likes best about the Wild Things. Each day brings something new and exciting so no two days are ever the same. Being part of a passionate organization that brings thrilling baseball to the fans she says is rewarding. Plus, the chance to engage with the community and contribute to local events makes her experience more fulfilling.
Beyond her professional pursuits with the Wild Things, Elise finds joy in spending time with her husband David as well as family and friends, actively engaging in her church community and participating in various small group activities.
