Wild Things and Grizzlies Washed Out, Will Not Be Made Up
WASHINGTON, Pa. (Sept. 3) – The finale between the Grizzlies and Wild Things Thursday night was delayed to start due to weather in the area before starting late and getting three innings in before more weather rolled in, forcing the umpire crew to cancel the game. The three played innings will not count and the game will not be made up, as the teams don’t meet again.
The Wild Things are home for the Schaumburg Boomers this weekend starting Friday night at 7:05 p.m. Any fan with a ticket to tonight’s cancelled game will be able to redeem the ticket as a voucher for any game this weekend or the playoffs in 2026.
Playoff tickets for the Wild Card round are on sale now by clicking here and are $5 apiece. Washington will host Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12 (if necessary) in the best of three. Division championship shirts are also available for pre-order here.
