Washington, Pa. – The Washington Wild Things, announced the extension of a long-term agreement today with Washington Financial that keeps the bank as the team’s presenting sponsor. In addition, Washington Financial has become the Wild Things’ official community outreach sponsor.
“Washington Financial has demonstrated an incredible commitment to the Wild Things organization by serving as presenting sponsor through the team’s first nine years,” said Todd Marlin, managing director of the Washington Wild Things. “Now, as we move into our tenth season, we are proud to announce that this partnership will continue.”
The partnership includes promotions such as the Honorary Bat Kid and the official sponsorship of every Friday home game, including post-game fireworks displays, a money machine contest, and more.
As the Wild Things’ new community outreach partner, Washington Financial will participate in many of the community appearances the Wild Things make throughout the year. They also will partner with the team to create “Banking in the Classroom,” a rewards-based educational program geared toward middle school students.
