Washington, Pa. - Fans of the Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Financial, helped end the 2010 home season on a high note despite the team's loss to Lake Erie: one more sell-out crowd for the year. The Wild Things front office staff, coaches and players would like to thank all of their fans and corporate partners for their support of Wild Things baseball.

Wild Things Fall In Final Game of Season

Traverse City, Mich. – Brandon Howard’s two-run, eighth-inning double off Eryk McConnell was the difference tonight as the Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Financial, fell to the Traverse City Beach Bums, 4-3, in their season finale. For the first time all series, the teams experienced good weather, having battled wind and rain in the previous two games at Wuerfel Park.


Wild Things’ Bats Silent in 7-0 Loss

Traverse City, Mich. – Wild Things starter Matt Rossignol pitched his best outing of the season but the Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Financial, were unable to produce any offense in a 7-0 loss to the Traverse City Beach Bums Saturday night at Wuerfel Park.

Wild Things Give Up Nine Runs After Rain Delay

Traverse City, Mich. – A rain delay proved costly for the Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Financial, Friday night when they blew a 3-0 lead over the Traverse City Beach Bums following the stoppage, losing 9-3. 


Wild Things Lose Another One-Run Game in Lake Erie

Avon, Ohio – The Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Financial, fell to the Lake Erie Crushers, 3-2, in the last meeting of the season between the two teams. Wayne Bond’s two-out single off Eryk McConnell in the bottom of the eighth scored Dom Duggan, lifting the Crushers to another close win over the Wild Things at All Pro Freight Stadium.
